North Carolina Augmentative Communication Association

Summer Workshop 2016

AAC Assessment Bootcamp

The NC Augmentative Communication Association together with the NC Assistive Technology Program are hosting three summer programs.  Each program will take and in-depth look at the different language systems available on commonly used speech generating devices.  In the afternoon, we will look at various case studies and discuss the ways the different language systems can support the current communication needs and build language competence. This collaborative workshop is a must for anyone who supports persons with complex communication needs who require augmentative communication interventions.
